ARTA 2025 'Enhancing Person-Centred Dementia Care through Neuroaesthetics and Art-Based Technologies' - Abstract
September 18th, 2025
Virtual, Australia

Clinical aged-care settings often heighten anxiety, disorientation and reliance on staff, limiting effective therapeutic engagement. Allied health lacks scalable environmental tools that support cognition and autonomy. This research shows how neuroaesthetics and art-based technologies create salient, familiar cues that improve wellbeing, identity and functional participation in dementia care.
