In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, this retreat offers a space to explore the connection between art, emotional well-being, and self-discovery. Throu nature-based practices and art making, participants will explore how creativity is a tool for resilience, empowerment, and self-care. Join me on Sunday, May 11th for a nurturing and creative workshop at Hoyt Arboretum in Portland, OR. I invite you to explore the powerful connection between nature, emotional well-being, and art.Through gentle, nature-based practices and intuitive art-making, this workshop offers a space to engage with creativity as a tool for resilience, empowerment, and self-care.Together, we’ll create a mixed-media self-portrait or “Empowerment Collage”, using poetry fragments, image cutouts, and color to reflect and celebrate your inner landscape. Creative practices can profoundly support emotional and mental well-being—and I am here to gently accompany you in honoring and celebrating the person you are.Let’s gather to slow down, reflect, and make space for inner connection—whether you come solo or with someone you love this Mother’s Day weekend.
