Please join us for a special night of music for The Ukraine Invisible Wounds Program with Global Response Medicine and Home Base: Helping to heal the trauma of war.

This is a special night of music featuring renowned pianist Vadim Neselovskyi and the acclaimed Sheffield Chamber Players in support of the Ukraine Invisible Wounds Program.

A few weeks ago, five MGH clinicians from Home Base went to Kyiv to continue a partnership in healing the Invisible Wounds of War, i.e. mental health, brain injury, PTSD in partnership with physicians in Ukraine. Dr. Ron HIrschberg wrote: "It was emotional and invigorating at the same time, and the work they are doing for both invisible and visible wounds is impressive but the volume is staggering."

This reciprocal effort will continue with the welcoming of a Ukrainian Clinical Team to Boston from April 24 - May 9, 2025, organized by Global Response Medicine.

ln order to celebrate this visit and to raise funds to defray costs, we have organized a benefit concert on Wed night 5/7/25 in Harvard Square at the beautiful new Arrow Street Arts venue.

The concert will feature some of Boston’s finest musicians including Vadim Neselovskyi - Professor at Berklee and Ukrainian pianist, violist Alexander Vavilov, soprano Olga Lisovska,  and an ensemble from Harvard Medical School. We will also learn from Iryna Kovalchuk, a Harvard linguist in Ukrainian and Polish studies, US Army (Ret.) General Jack Hammond and some of the visiting physicians.

Please come celebrate, honor and reflect on these invisible wounds and a resilient community that will need support and help in years to come.

We are trying to amplify this event in any way so please forward and let you networks know!
