UNGA Healing Arts Week

Held on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, UNGA Healing Arts Week 2025 shines a light on the role of culture and creativity in advancing global health priorities. For the first time, the activation will take place across all five boroughs of NYC.
UNGA Healing Arts Week 2025 returns with a bold, expanded program of events that brings together artists, healthcare leaders, policymakers, and communities from around the world. Through performances, panels, research presentations, and community activations, the week will explore how the arts are driving innovation in health and well-being.
Taking place alongside the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the 2025 edition will spotlight the role of culture and creativity in advancing global health priorities—particularly in the context of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and mental health.
This year, for the first time, events will take place across all five boroughs of New York City, reflecting the growing momentum of the Arts in Health movement and its relevance to diverse communities and care settings.
