Two year, full-time graduate level program in Design that offers design core courses through the Stanford d.school plus focus area electives selected from across the Stanford campus.  It enables future designers to prototype across all mediums, learn from human needs and navigate ambiguous projects.

Through the Stanford MS Design coursework, we aim to enable the following in our students:

  1. The ability to prototype and make across all mediums, existing and emerging.
  2. The care and responsibility to be leading stewards of the planet, all people, and the data we generate.
  3. The quirky creativity that produces new-to-the-world ideas.
  4. The flexibility of adaptive learning.
