I often write about design, lifestyle trends, and the illimitable wonders of parenting a child with a rare neurogenetic condition.

I am an award winning freelance journalist based in Brooklyn, NY. I am also the writer-collaborator behind various design books including Cheap Old Houses, a visual love letter to historic homes released in fall 2023 from Clarkson Potter. Two new design books will be released in 2026.

I’ve written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, TODAY Show, New York Post, Boston Globe, USA Today and assorted lifestyle magazines.
