Hello! I'm a voice artist and lifelong art-science lover. My journey has flowed from an MRI machine to Monet’s Water Lilies, from cadaver lab to stage, from an archive to a classroom full of wiggly first-graders. I'm currently working on a cozy-brainy podcast blending science and storytelling, due to be released autumn 2025. Let's connect!

I’m Sarah DeLong, a U.S.-based voiceover artist and narrator. I love crafting warm, wise, and wonder-filled audio files for museums, schools, researchers, authors, and health providers—including guides, descriptors, e-learning, fundraising content, advertising, and so much more. My hope is always that I can give listeners moments to pause, feel, and connect with themselves and the world. I'm known for speaking to multiple ages and audiences and for offering a vocal tone that is “calming” “thoughtful” “engaging” “educational” “chill” “affirming” “reflective” “curious" “soothing” “meditative” and “explorative”.

My interest in neuroscience is built on a lifetime of experiences. Multiple people in my family have experienced neurological disorders—including brain cancer, Parkinson's, and schizophrenia. I also live with an idiopathic hand tremor. After studying language and literature in college, I was a children's librarian and literacy instructor, which sparked my interest in informal learning spaces, child development, and the science of storytelling. Later, while training as a yoga instructor and an integrative somatic facilitator, I studied anatomy, accessible movement, and cognition in the context of neutral and affirming spaces. All of this has fueled my curiosity and empathy for human scientific and artistic expressions. I love connecting and co-creating with people who blur and blend traditional forms of research and care. I'm also open to finding new avenues of voice work through those connections.
