Sarah DeLong

I’m Sarah DeLong. That voice you hear behind an explainer video? The voice reading an audiobook? The voice giving directions in a tutorial? That's me. I'm the human that connects with other humans using sound and brain waves.
I’m Sarah DeLong, a voiceover performer and narrator. I work mostly in e-learning, medical, mental health, science, and children's audio.
I'm a textual analyzer, a performer, a director, and a little bit of an audio engineer. My background is in literature, literacy, librarianship, and trauma-informed mind-body awareness.
I tend to work for medical and pharmaceutical institutions, health providers, museums, schools, researchers, and authors. Everything from website guides to explainers, courses, or fundraising promos. My hope is always that I can give listeners moments to pause, feel, and connect with themselves and the world.
My interest in neuroscience is built on a lifetime of experiences. Multiple people in my family have experienced neurological disorders—including brain cancer, Parkinson's, and schizophrenia. While training as an integrative somatic facilitator, I studied anatomy, accessible movement, and cognition in the context of neutral and affirming spaces. My experiences have fueled my curiosity and empathy for human scientific and artistic expressions.
I love connecting and co-creating with people who blur and blend traditional forms of research and care.
