TurningArt is a national art consultancy that curates and manages evidence-based art programs for healthcare, workplace, and multifamily environments. With a network of thousands of local and national artists, we deliver custom artwork solutions that align with each client's space, brand, and goals.

In healthcare settings, our programs are designed to support clinical outcomes by enhancing the patient experience, reducing stress, and fostering therapeutic environments. We work closely with providers, architects, and design teams to integrate art that reflects the needs of diverse patient populations and care settings—from behavioral health to acute care.

By combining art curation, project management, and ongoing support, TurningArt makes it easy for organizations to harness the power of art to improve wellbeing, engagement, and connection in the spaces where people live, work, and heal.

Interests

We are currently working on a whitepaper titled "Art as Infrastructure: The Neuroscience of Creativity in Behavioral Health." It explores how visual art influences cortical activation, emotional regulation, and healing in mental healthcare settings. The paper includes findings from our original survey of behavioral health professionals, as well as proposals for future research and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We're hoping to find educators or researchers interested in reviewing the draft, collaborating, or potentially endorsing the work, which we'd hope to develop into a webinar or CEU. If you're curious, I’d be happy to share the paper directly - just reply here or email me directly (olson@turningart.com).
