"Hold On To Tomorrow" Music Video for Mental Health Well-Being & Suicide Prevention
Posted byDiane Kaufman

Music is a universal language of self expression and connecting with others. Music can help save lives from suicide. Why is the "Hold On To Tomorrow" song valuable? It's important because in the USA suicide is the 11th leading cause of death and 2nd leading cause of death for ages 10yo - 34 yo (most recent CDC statistics 2023 as published in 2025 by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention).

"Hold On To Tomorrow" with its healing words, imagery, and music beautifully raises awareness of 988 and compassionately opens  conversation on mental health. The video is meant to be shared and can easily be used by schools, mental health services, and community settings as an introduction to discussion on mental health, suicide risk factors and prevention, and resource sharing. The music video also highlights the powerful contribution that expressive arts can make in health care communication and promotion.

This song and music video's creation is part of the Hold On Campaign for Suicide Prevention that uses the power of art to educate, connect, express, and heal. To learn more about the Hold On Campaign and its suicide prevention activities, please see www.holdoncampaign.org.
