Undergraduate Neuroscience and Music Major looking for Summer Opportunities

My name is Jolie Monier-Williams and I am a second semester Junior at Skidmore College. I am pursuing my undergraduate degree in the fields of Neuroscience and Music, hoping to focus on music therapy research and Neuroarts in general!! Research has been my passion since high school, and I still am writing down research questions almost every hour. In high school I was involved in a four year honors biomedical science program where I underwent two different research experiments that were conducted by myself and one or two other peers. In college, I was very unsure what I wanted to study and therefore was unable to get involved in research as fast as other neuroscience majors. Next semester I am joining the Music Cognition research lab and I am currently running psychopharmacology experiments on rat animal models for a research methods class. I would love to get more hands on experience, especially within the Neuroarts world this summer. Please reach out if you have any suggestions or best next steps for my path!
