2026 Annual Music Research Network Investigator Meeting
The four NIH-supported Music Research Networks Music4Pain Research Network, Music & Dementia Research Network, Audio Analgesia Research Network, ENSEMBLE Research Network, are coming together for the 2026 Annual Music Research Network Investigator Meeting, a virtual event focused on advancing the science of music-based interventions for pain and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Hosted by the University of Maryland School of Nursing, this meeting will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, pilot awardees, and federal partners to explore emerging discoveries at the intersection of music, neuroscience, pain, cognition, and health outcomes.
This year’s meeting will feature opening remarks from leaders across federal agencies, including the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research (OBSSR), and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).
