Can the gut control our minds? Dr. Ivan De Araujo, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, will discuss how signals generated deep in our gastrointestinal tissues affect our psychological states. The Eden Stell Guitar Duo will provide dynamic classical guitar selections. This live community event is free; pre-registration is required.

Science Meets Music is a dynamic series of cutting-edge scientific discussions paired with enchanting musical performances. We invite you to join us for a thought-provoking evening of exploring how our minds work!

Can the gut control our minds? Dr. Ivan De Araujo, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, will discuss how signals generated deep in our gastrointestinal tissues affect our psychological states. With this information, scientists can lay a foundation for better patient care.  

The Eden Stell Guitar Duo will surround this discussion with dynamic classical guitar selections. This free community event is hosted at the Benjamin Upper School in Palm Beach Gardens.
