10x10feet | Neuroaesthetics Lab | Immersive Light Installation

June 18th, 2025
Chandigarh, India
An immersive light installation designed to quiet the mind and awaken the senses.
Using shifting shadows, soft gradients, and neuroaesthetic patterns, this installation transforms space into a living canvas of stillness. It invites participants to slow down, do nothing, and simply be—where light becomes both a portal and a pause.

Abstract/Description

This immersive light installation features a hand-drawn artwork on a revolving acrylic cube, casting intricate shadows that transform the entire space into a meditative lightscape. Rooted in neuroaesthetic design, the experience invites viewers into a state of stillness—where the interplay of light, shadow, and motion quiets the cognitive noise of everyday life.

Every line on the cube is intuitively drawn by hand, embedding the artist’s presence into the work. This tactile, human touch bridges a deeper emotional connection between the space and its visitors—making the experience feel personal, not programmed.

Inspired by the monumental installations of Anila Quayyum Agha, this work reinterprets her architectural shadow play through a lens of mindfulness and mental well-being. The revolving geometry, soft gradients, and slow rhythm create an environment where mindlessness becomes a doorway to mindfulness.

This isn’t just a visual spectacle. It’s a neuro-sensory portal—an invitation to do nothing and feel everything.
