May 1st, 2025
Joanna Woronkowicz, Doug Noonan

Funded through the National Endowment for the Arts, Arts Analytics aims to change the culture of how information is used in the arts sector with making data available and easy to use. The website offers visualization tools and free public data to drive decision-making. It also provides opportunities to donate data and make it available to the public.

Abstract/Description
As researchers and data enthusiasts, and founders and co-directors of I/O, Joanna Woronkowicz and Doug Noonan know first-hand the power of information. They created Arts Analytics as a dynamic project that will continuously collect new data, find ways to visualize and share these data, and evolve alongside the information needs of the arts and cultural sector.
We are a dynamic project, continuously dedicating ourselves to amassing new data, new ways to visualize that data, and evolving functionalities for users to engage.
