Abstract/Description
This report provides detailed analysis of data from the 2022 Survey of Public Participation in the Arts (SPPA)—the nation’s most comprehensive measure of arts engagement among U.S. adults. The report examines patterns of arts attendance, consumption of art via digital platforms, literary reading, creating or performing art, and learning in the arts. Statistical tables and visualizations show differences by age, education, region, and metro status. The report includes trend comparisons going back two decades. See also the Technical Appendix.
