Dance for PD - The Power of Intermodal Movement for Long Term Resiliency

NY, NY, United States
Arts & Recovery Team, Center for Disaster Healing Resources - Interview # 2 - Dance w / David Leventhal
Posted byDr. REJI MATHEW

Abstract/Description

Our first interview is with the award-winning, internationally renowned founding teacher & director, David Leventhal of Dance for PD, an arts initiative of the Mark Morris Dance Group in Brooklyn, NY. With humility and artistic rigor, David has achieved the choreographic feat of offering a diverse repertoire of dance to people of all levels of abilities. This story is not only a story about the healing power of dance for people living with Parkinson's disease, it is a template on the transformative power of music & movement as an integrative tool towards a holistic model of health & well-being for all of us.
