Arts in Health Program Manager – Rutgers University (Temporary, Part-Time)
Position Overview
This position supports Rutgers University's growing Arts in Health Initiative, working at the intersection of arts, public health, research, and higher education. Reporting directly to the Endowed Chair of Arts in Health, the Program Manager serves as the operational lead for multiple interdisciplinary programs and partnerships.

Primary Responsibilities
Program & Administrative Management
- Manage the Endowed Chair's calendar and meetings
- Coordinate program logistics
- Prepare agendas, reports, presentations, and correspondence
- Maintain documentation systems
- Provide general administrative support
Budget & Financial Management
- Track program budgets
- Process purchasing and reimbursements
- Maintain financial records
- Prepare budget summaries and reports
Event Planning
Coordinate all aspects of events, including:
- Venue selection
- Artist/vendor contracts
- Catering
- AV and technical needs
- Invitations and RSVPs
- On-site event management
- Post-event evaluations
Outreach & Marketing
- Design promotional flyers
- Coordinate campus and external advertising
- Manage event listings
- Table at university events
- Help manage social media
Documentation & Evaluation
- Photograph events
- Collect testimonials
- Administer surveys
- Gather program evaluation data
- Support reporting and impact documentation
Representation
- Represent the Arts in Health Initiative at university and professional events
- Engage with artists, community partners, and institutional collaborators
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
