Welcome to the Neuroarts Resource Center!

Our team will periodically post updates in this space to keep you informed on how the platform is evolving. Thank you for being part of the neuroarts community.

6-9-25: We’re excited to share that the NRC’s social feed now includes comments—making it easier than ever to engage in conversation and connect with others across the community. We’ve also made several quality-of-life improvements, including an enhanced notifications system. Now, you’ll receive an alert when your submitted organization has been verified. If you’ve previously submitted an organization, don’t forget to make it publicly visible so the community can find and connect with you!

Programs & Activities

Ground Works accepts submissions to our online journal and publishes on a rolling basis. Our first special edition, Vibrant Ecologies of Research, received the highly competitive Best Special Issue award of 2022 from the Council of Editors of Learned Journals. Our second special edition, Creating Knowledge in Common, has been accompanied by a suite of programming including online round-tables and ongoing reading clubs. In 2024, we piloted a version of CRediT (NISO's Contributor Roles Taxonomy), adapted for arts-integrated research: CRediT-FAIR. CRediT-FAIR follows a contributorship model for publishing, acknowledging the range of contributions that make arts-integrated knowledge production possible.
