Debby Urken, LCSW

Debby is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice. She sees children ages 8+, teenagers, and adults and their families. She incorporates somatic approaches and the expressive arts into therapy sessions.
Debby started working as a helping professional in 2011, providing case management services to children and adults with disabilities. Prior to becoming a somatic psychotherapist, she conducted research in the field of arts & mental health and worked as an evaluation associate. Debby brings a lifetime of dance and movement experience to her work as a therapist. In addition to therapy services, Debby offers dance improvisation, meditation, process painting, and writing workshops and groups. She loves to help people find understanding, peace, and joy through the creative process.
