Diana Varco

Hello, I'm Diana Varco an improvisor, solo theatre artist and the writer/performer of two dark (dark) comedy solo theatre plays Shattered and Rise. My mission is to break down stigma, build compassion and cultivate joy through the power of the creative arts.
Diana Varco is a critically acclaimed solo theatre artist, improviser, and actress – turned Arts & Health advocate.
She’s the writer/performer of two solo plays Shattered and Rise about resilience and trauma recovery, that have graced stages in Los Angeles, New York, Iceland, Sweden, Finland and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe – as well as virtual engagements in Melbourne, Sydney, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
With over 10 years experience in comedy, Diana has created the blog What X Taught Me About Y, co-created/co-produced Ladies' Night, a female focused (non-binary) variety show, co-created/co-produced the improv-based web series Riding Buddies, and co-wrote the pilot Mom Circle.
Through solo theatre performance, public speaking and workshop presentations, Diana delivers content -- for solo artists, solopreneurs, and innovative individuals -- that invites people to discover a sense of play with life’s experiences (even the heavy ones), embrace innate resilience through improv-inspired ideas and discover joy along the way.
