Geinene Carson

With a degree in Painting/Sculpture, I create original artwork merging art, science, and human experience. From my home studio in Atlanta, Georgia, I engage a wide variety of audiences by exhibiting and collaborating internationally.
My neuro-centric art focus, originally inspired by my daughter’s rare genetic disorder, intentionally blurs the lines between the abstract and physiological. I aim to bring expressionistic fine art to the scientific community while integrating research structures into artistic expression. My creative advocacy engages a variety of realms: rare disease, scientific research, neuroscience, and mental / emotional health. My artwork exhibits internationally, offering a unique perspective in blending the artistic and scientific worlds with human compassion.
In addition, I offer a thoughtful collection of neuro-centric art items for personal and professional spaces, believing that art should enrich our everyday lives in big and small ways. I have experience engaging with scientific and healthcare professionals, creating customized art in direct collaboration - a career highlight being an artist in residence at the Univ. of Manchester (UK) in the Dept of Developmental Biology.
