I am an architect and practice-based researcher based in Lima, Peru, working at the intersection of immersive environments, neuroscience, and embodied experience. My work explores how space and technology can move beyond visual stimulation to actively support nervous system regulation, presence, and internal awareness.
I am the founder of Interior Consciente – Inner Creative Lab, a platform investigating how architecture, immersive media, and somatic practices can come together to create environments that respond to the body in real time. Operating from Latin America with a global outlook, Interior Consciente is building what I believe is still an emerging conversation in the Spanish-speaking world: the systematic connection between neuroarchitecture, sensory design, and lived bodily experience.
My current project is HeartBeat Bloom: a biofeedback-based immersive meditation experience that captures real-time cardiac data from a single participant and transforms it into generative visuals shared by a group. The experience draws on cardiac coherence, vagal tone, and mirror neuron activation to explore whether collective somatic regulation is possible through shared physiological signals. Group pilots are planned for July 2026.
I am also a certified mindfulness facilitator with training in somatic awareness and interoceptive practices, and an incoming participant in the IED Summer School at the Royal College of Art, London 2026.
I joined the Neuroarts Resource Center to connect with researchers, artists, and practitioners whose work overlaps with mine and to contribute a Latin American perspective to a field that is still predominantly Anglo-European in its visibility. I believe this community is exactly where those conversations need to happen.
Open to research collaborations, institutional partnerships, and interdisciplinary exchanges.

Interests

I work at the intersection of neuroarchitecture, sensory design, and embodied experience, with a specific focus on how immersive environments can support nervous system regulation and internal awareness. My practice combines architectural thinking with biofeedback technology, generative art, and somatic practices to explore the relationship between body, space, and perception. I am particularly interested in interoception and cardiac coherence as entry points for collective somatic experience, and in how practice-based research can generate knowledge that sits between art, science, and design. I work from a Latin American context with an interest in expanding the visibility of this field beyond its current Anglo-European center of gravity.
