Johanne Morin

I partner with individuals and organizations that value intentional, wellness-centered design. Whether it’s transforming existing buildings or developing new spaces from the ground up, my focus is on creating environments that elevate well-being, functionality, and meaningful living.
As an Environmental Design consultant, I am dedicated to creating sustainable, conscious solutions for the built environment. With over 20 years of experience, I specialize in providing tailored insights through focus groups, surveys, and in-depth space evaluations. My recommendations for space optimization aim to align design with strategic workplace goals, ensuring environments foster both functionality and well-being.
I believe deeply in the power of nature to heal and restore, nurturing the body, mind, and spirit. My work is centered on crafting spaces that serve as sanctuaries, strengthening our innate connection to the Earth while promoting human and planetary health.
I am certified in Advanced Scientific Feng Shui for Architecture, Interior Design & Landscape, a licensed LEED AP (U.S. Green Building Council), and WELL AP (International WELL Building Institute™), bringing holistic expertise to every project.
MoSS | The Studio
At MoSS, we design and support workplace strategies that elevate both organizational performance and human well-being. Our process begins with deep discovery—listening, observing, and fully understanding the unique needs, culture, and aspirations of each space and its people.
We believe that impactful solutions come from meaningful collaboration. By blending strategic thinking with thoughtful design, we create environments—whether at work or home—that foster peace, functionality, and purpose.
Our passion lies in helping people feel better in their spaces. We strive to reduce stress, spark productivity, and bring joy to everyday living—minimizing stagnation and unlocking each space’s full potential.
At MoSS Lifestyle™, we believe the spaces we occupy deeply influence how we live, feel, and connect—with ourselves and the world around us. As a thoughtfully curated magazine, we explore the synergy between wellness design and mindful architecture, offering inspiration, insight, and practical guidance for creating environments that support inner calm, conscious living, and lasting well-being.
Interests
As part of my commitment to purpose-driven design, I have led the pro bono design and space planning for two impactful educational initiatives in Kenya: Valley Light Home and the Lenkai Christian High School campus. Sponsored and funded by Atlanta-based nonprofit Just One Africa, these projects aim to create safe, functional, and uplifting environments for children and young adults. Working closely with a local Kenyan architect and community stakeholders, I focused on delivering culturally informed and sustainable design solutions that align with the schools’ educational missions while supporting long-term community growth and resilience.
