Dr. Joven R. Cuanang is a Neurologist, art collector, curator and philanthropist.

Trained at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Dr. Cuanang served as Medical Director and Chairman of the Board of St Luke’s College of Medicine, Manila. Aside from his medical career, Dr Cuanang has been an instrumental figure in the birth of a Philippine contemporary art scene. In the late 80s he transformed his home in Manila and gardens in Antipolo, just east of the capital, into a residence for young underdog artists. Since then, three generations of artists raised to national and international prominence through shows in his Boston Gallery and Pintô Art Gallery. In 2010 Dr Cuanang opened his collection to the public, founding the Pintô Art Museum. In 2024 Dr. Cuanang founded the Philippine Institute for NeuroArts.
