Kachina Chawla, MPH, is a public health strategist and founding member of Lighthouse Health Solutions. With 20+ years across three continents, she has deep expertise in health systems strengthening, digital health (AI), entrepreneurship and DEI. She blends foresight, evidence, and empathy to make healthcare work for all, now leading its expansion into aging in place, starting with brain health.

Kachina Chawla, MPH, is a public health strategist and founding member of Lighthouse Health Solutions. With over two decades of experience across three continents, she brings deep expertise in health systems strengthening, digital health( including AI), entrepreneurship and diversity, equity and inclusion.
At USAID/India, Kachina led a $30M+ portfolio advancing pandemic preparedness, integrating mental health across the health system, digital innovations, and health systems resilience. Her leadership built cross-sector partnerships connecting governments, multilaterals, and private actors to strengthen inclusive systems of care and drive impact at scale.
Before founding Lighthouse, Kachina co-founded Gharkamai, one of India’s first digital platforms connecting professional women to project-based work—later acquired by Sheroes. The platform helped pioneer technology-driven inclusion and flexible economic opportunity for women.
At Lighthouse, Kachina guides the organization’s strategic vision—bringing together foresight, evidence, and empathy to make healthcare work for everyone. She is currently leading the company’s expansion into services and product offerings that support aging in place, beginning with innovations in brain health.
Kachina received her bachelor’s degree in History and Science from Bennington College, Vermont, and a master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Monitoring and Evaluation from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University, New Orleans.
