Kathrin, a certified Science in Design Specialist and Color Strategist, brings a deeply human-centric approach to the practice. She holds an architecture degree from Germany with a special focus on rehabilitating existing buildings. Merging contemporary architecture with adaptive reuse and interior design, her expertise spans the entire project lifecycle—from identifying client goals and conducting feasibility studies to redevelopment planning and construction completion. Grounded in the principles of Neuroscience, Environmental Psychology, and Spatial Experience Design, Kathrin intentionally creates environments that calm the nervous system, evoke emotional resonance, and support holistic well-being.
When Kathrin joined the studio in 2018 to work with Justin Lee as a husband & wife team, LEE²DESIGN was born. Their boutique studio completes interior renovations, furniture design, new additions, ground-up buildings, exhibition spaces, and master planning, delivering thoughtful, inspired design solutions at every scale.
