Krystal L. Culler, DBH, is a brain health strategist, science communicator, and founder of the Virtual Brain Health Center, a global education platform advancing practical, evidence-informed brain care across the lifespan. Trained as a Doctor of Behavioral Health, she works at the intersection of neuroscience, public health, and community engagement to translate complex research into clear, actionable guidance for everyday life.
Krystal launched the Virtual Brain Health Center with a focused mission: make credible brain health education accessible to everyone. What began as a local initiative has grown into an international platform reaching more than 40,000 individuals across 125 countries. Through free educational programs, collaborative campaigns, and practical resources, the Center connects the public directly with researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to support informed decision-making and healthier brain habits.
She is the host of the Let’s Talk Brain Health podcast, ranked in the top 10 percent of podcasts globally, where she interviews leading scientists and practitioners to bridge the gap between research and real-world application. Her work centers on cutting through misinformation and providing audiences with clear next steps grounded in evidence.
Krystal also leads Neuro Nook, a virtual brain health book club designed to bring research into daily life through guided discussion and social connection. By blending science, lived experience, and community dialogue, Neuro Nook helps participants translate knowledge into sustainable behavior change that supports cognitive and emotional well-being.
As an independent consultant, Krystal partners with senior living organizations, health nonprofits, academic research centers, healthcare systems, employers, and media outlets to design brain health education strategies, science communication initiatives, and workforce training programs. She specializes in turning complex topics into accessible messaging, infographics, and programming that drive engagement and measurable impact.
A frequent speaker at national and international conferences, Krystal advocates for cross-sector collaboration and practical prevention strategies that support brain health from childhood through older adulthood. Her vision is to build the most trusted global home for brain health education, ensuring individuals, families, and communities have access to credible information and clear action steps in a rapidly evolving information landscape.
Through education, connection, and strategic collaboration, Krystal continues to build infrastructure for lifelong brain health.
