Laina Miller

Artist, community-builder, and creative wellness entrepreneur with lived experience of complex trauma. I design programs that explore the intersection of grief, somatic healing, and creative expression. Passionate about neuroarts as a tool for recovery, resilience, and collective care.
I’m a creative wellness practitioner, artist, and educator with a background in art direction and community-based healing. My work is rooted in lived experience with complex trauma—including familial addiction, grief, loss, and recovery—and explores the intersection of creative expression, nervous system regulation, and personal transformation.
Over the years, I’ve developed programs that harness the healing potential of creativity, sensory engagement, and artistic expression. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to creating spaces—through workshops, installations, and storytelling—where people can metabolize emotion, reclaim agency, and reconnect to their inner world.
I’m increasingly drawn to the role of environment in healing, and to the quiet power of thoughtfully designed, aesthetically meaningful spaces. The neuroarts field resonates deeply with what I’ve long sensed: that creative expression is a powerful force for healing, re-patterning, and cultural evolution. I’m here to contribute lived-experience insight, collaborate across disciplines, and advocate for inclusive, art-centered approaches to wellness and research.
