Leo J. Chung

Hi! My name is Leo, and I am an undergraduate studying neuroscience at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada.
I recently developed and taught an undergraduate-level course on "Neuroaesthetics: Your Brain on Art", given my interest in how individuals perceive art and the world around them differently given their unique backgrounds. I look forward to continue studying this field!
A UBC junior with a keen interest in neuroscience, education, hedonics, epigenetics, gut-brain axis, and outreach.
Possesses an academic focus revolving around understanding the complexities of the human brain, along with the impacts the changes in our brain have on our interactions with external environments.
Enjoys biking, teaching, most ball sports, chess, and everything in between!
Currently interning as a research and development intern at STEMCELL Technologies, and finished a previous fellowship with the Simons Foundation.
