Linseigh Green

An interdisciplinary storyteller working at the intersection of arts, health, and neuroplasticity — grounded in lived experience and research.
I am an award-winning performer, writer, rare disease advocate, researcher, immersive audio producer, and creative strategist. After developing Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in my early twenties, I discovered that creative practice — particularly theatre and music — restored much of my lost functionality. According to my neuropsychiatrist, I've helped myself more than the current state of research allows clinicians to help me. Now, I want to investigate why.
I am interested in learning more about neuroarts so that I can combine lived experience, research, and my interdisciplinary training to better understand how art shapes neuroplasticity, identity, and recovery. A goal of mine is to develop creative approaches to help fellow neuro patients. Most importantly, I want to see how I can use my case to help us demystify FND and the brain overall.
My work has been recognized by NPR, US Congress, broadcast television, and more. After launching the world's first-known long term necrotizing enterocolitis outcomes studies at only 21, Rare Revolution Magazine named me one of the top changemakers in the rare disease world.
