Maggie Parr

A creative professional engaged in art making, teaching, mentoring, writing, and coaching, with the goal of helping others create their best work and find their true path.
Maggie Parr has been a professional artist for 35 years, designing theme parks for Imagineering, illustrating books, and painting murals and portraits . She teaches classical rendering techniques so artists can confidently break the rules in the service of their own work; and she coaches creatives in search of deeper authenticity, healing, and self-actualization. She maintains an expressionist painting practice, and writes books that narrate and express her ongoing journey of discovery. Her most recent publication is “A Creator’s Guide to Stopping Self-Harm,” a hands-on guide for those who struggle with self-injury and the clinicians who help them. See www.stoppingselfharm.com.
