Perspectives on Arts in Health (PAH) Journal

Perspectives on Arts in Health is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal transforming how the field is shared and seen—amplifying diverse practices, expanding public understanding, and shaping its future. Beyond research and case studies, it welcomes creative work, personal stories, community projects, and more that demonstrate how the arts impact clinics, classrooms, communities, and beyond.
Mission: Perspectives on Arts in Health is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing practice and research in the arts in health discipline. Recognizing that knowledge is created in many ways, this engaging multimedia journal aims to share best practices with artists, students, and individuals working at the intersections of arts, culture, community, health, and well-being.
Scope: Perspectives on Arts in Health links innovation and traditional practices, publishing original research, including case studies, book/media reviews, project reports, and recordings of performances in the general areas of (but not limited to):
Arts in Healthcare
Arts in Public and Community Health
Arts in Health and AI/Tech
Arts in Health Pedagogy

Perspectives on Arts in Health is supported by the UF Center for Arts in Medicine in collaboration with the International Arts + Mind Lab at Johns Hopkins and Stanford Arts. Funding provided by a Strategic Funding Award from the University of Florida.
