Rachael McDaniel

Masters of Science Candidate in Psychology of Art, Neuroaesthetics and Creativity, Goldsmiths University of London. Rachael Marie McDaniel is an educator and founder whose work is informed by Neuroaesthetic Research. Rachael's aim is to bring more credibility and more access to art interventions as treatment for PTSD through her research.
With a BA in Arts Education and graduate studies in Expressive Arts Therapy, Rachael has twenty two years of experience teaching the arts and over 300 hours of Expressive Art Therapy practicum. She has had the honor of instructing psycho-educational and expressive arts classes at International Rescue Committee, the New Children’s Museum, San Diego Art Institute and has recently accepted a position teaching at the Institute of Contemporary Art in San Diego, California. Rachael is also a visual artist whose work is featured in countless private collections across the globe and has exhibited in solo shows across the Americas. She is the owner and founder of The Aesthetic Mindset LLC which offers arts, education, and consulting services.
