Social Prescribing USA (SP USA) is an organization dedicated to integrating social prescribing into the U.S. healthcare system.

Currently a fiscally-sponsored project of the Social Good Fund, SP USA intends to seek independent 501c(3) status this year upon successful fundraising efforts. We are staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time on top of full-time roles as experts in their respective domains. We are committed to the belief that health is not only the absence of disease but the ability to explore, enjoy, and belong to our communities. Informed by research on the health impact of social connection — often facilitated through engagement with the arts, nature, movement, and service (volunteering)— we believe in integrated approaches to care. Our work supports four primary objectives: Educate, Advocate, Facilitate, and Lead.
