Sofia Melendez is an art historian, writer, independent curator, & accessibility and mental health advocate. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Art History with a minor in Theatre from the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College and are obtaining their Masters' degree in Museum Studies from New York University in May 2027. Melendez's art historical practice focuses on accessibility and mental health advocacy in addition to a welcoming and captivating approach to arts education. They are also an actively creating multi-disciplinary artist.
