Prof. Dr. Şükrü Torun (Neurologist & Turkish MoH approved music therapist ) works on neuroscience-based music-mediated interventions for developmental & acquired neuropsycho-social disorders. He established the first Music Therapy Department officially approved by the Council of Higher Education, and is one of the founders of the NeuroArt Platform affiliated with the Turkish Neurological Society.

His work focuses on improving quality of life through accessible and scalable collaborative processes. He believes that scientific bridges built between disciplines such as neurorehabilitation, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, early and special education from a neuroart perspective will create a beneficial and functional space for health, wellbeing and society. In this context, Dr. Torun values comprehensive and application-oriented efforts aimed at transforming complex neuroscientific concepts into practical, structured, and accessible music-mediated intervention protocols and neuro-education strategies.
