I wear several hats when it comes to the arts. For my "day job," I am a grant administrator. Secondly, I am passionate about arts and the community, and I am very concerned about access to the arts. Finally, I am a writer.
As a grant administrator at the Town of Frederick, Colorado, I manage and oversee various grants related to community development, arts, emergency services, and public safety. I have more than 14 years of experience in this field, with a BA in English-Creative Writing and certifications in Excel, OJP Financial Management, and Nonprofit Fundraising Tips.
I am passionate about creating positive social impact and supporting local communities through effective and efficient grant administration. I have strong skills in grant writing, editing, budgeting, reporting, and compliance, as well as in onboarding technology platforms, project management, research, and event planning. I have successfully secured and administered multiple federal and foundation grants, totaling over $5 million, for various programs and initiatives that enhance the quality of life and resilience of the residents and stakeholders in the region.
