Triada Samaras

Artist, Teaching Artist, and Arts Integration Specialist exploring the intersections of art, emotional regulation, and healing in education. Triada Samaras is an artist and educator based in New York City and Standish, Maine. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College and an MA in Art/Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Triada Samaras is an interdisciplinary artist and art educator whose work transforms lived experience into visual and poetic form. Across painting, drawing, photography, poetry, and socially engaged projects, she translates emotion, memory, and perception into compositions that are deeply personal yet universally resonant.
Her work in arts education focuses on developing practical, arts-based strategies that support emotional regulation and well-being for teachers and students. As a mentor and teaching artist, she blends hands-on artistic skills with critical thinking, guiding educators and students through the creative process and its broader relevance across disciplines. Triada has extensive experience in arts integration for teacher professional development and currently teaches in the William Paterson STEAM Master’s program. She is also a Master-Level Teaching Artist with Young Audiences NJ/Eastern PA.
