Hi! I am Valerie, a Chicago-based leader at IA Interior Architects. I help organizations define workplace solutions that foster belonging, innovation, and growth through a science-informed, future-focused approach called the Harmonic Principles™ . I developed this framework as a means to bridge strategy and design to deliver environments that support cognitive, emotional, and physical outcomes.
My career spans 18 years with experience across interior design, business leadership, and strategic foresight with a passion in helping guide global organizations to create purposeful, high-performing workplaces that align with their business vision and culture. I hold a Bachelor's in Interior Design and an Executive MBA. In addition to holding the following certifications: NCIDQ, LEED AP, Fitwel Ambassador, Prosci change management practitioner and have advanced training in strategic foresight. My goal is to be a resource and disruptor by leveraging human-first, future-focused approaches in every engagement.
