Winter Lazerus is a Grammy-nominated, multi-gold and platinum award-winning record producer, composer, artist, musician, and mastering/mix engineer. He began his career working with iconic figures such as Donald Fagen on *The Nightfly* (nominated for seven Grammy Awards), contributing record engineering, production concepts, and vocals. *The Nightfly* is widely considered one of the best-sounding recordings in contemporary music history.

His early apprenticeship placed him alongside legends including Vladimir Horowitz, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Quincy Jones, The Rolling Stones, Tom Waits, Rod Stewart, and Van Dyke Parks, as well as on landmark film projects such as the original *Grease* soundtrack.

By age 23, Lazerus had moved into full-time record production, working with artists such as Steely Dan, Donald Fagen, Diana Ross, Jean Michel Jarre, Laurie Anderson, The Violent Femmes, Tom Jones, Bruce Willis, Mike Oldfield, Eddie Murphy, and Stevie Wonder. He contributed to two Sundance-winning films (*Dig!* and *Fuel*) and collaborated with directors Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood.

Now based in Western Norway, Winter’s work spans record production, composing, writing, live performance, and immersive dome and interactive concert experiences.

He holds a Master’s degree in Consciousness Studies, which informs both a scientific and mythic interdisciplinary approach to art-making.
He is co-founder of Trollywood Productions AS with artist Heidi Torsvik. Their projects include the double album *Hidden Soul of the Fjords* (released on Naxos International and named a “Must-Hear New Album” by BBC Music Magazine).

Recent highlights include *Beneath the Surface Touch the Sky*, an animated short film co-developed with Simone Hooymans and featuring writing by Nobel Laureate Jon Fosse, with narration by Margreth Olin and actor Bill Pullman. The film received support from Vestland Fylkeskommune and Vestnorske Filmsenter.

Winter also received a Spellemann Certificate for his work on the award-winning album *Coffin Nails* by Ledfoot, and helped lead the first-ever live performance of the Hidden Soul music group, headlining the Gulatinget Festival in 2024.

He is currently developing multiple new works: the stage musical and album *Now That You Are Here*, the novel *Chance’s Flywheel* (set in Norway), new artist production projects, and exploring innovative uses of planetariums and immersive storytelling.

Winter is committed to poetic, boundary-crossing works that integrate sound, story, technology, and the unique cross-over of art and heart.
