Yifan Chen, MHS is a public health researcher and advocate working at the intersection of culture, systems, and care. With a background spanning medicine, arts, and public health, he focuses on integrating creative and community-based approaches into health policy to address structural inequities and promote well-being.

He has contributed to interdisciplinary research across the U.S., China, and Singapore, focusing on arts-based approaches to mental health, social connection, and youth well-being. At the Centre for Music and Health at the National University of Singapore, he coordinates studies in both community and clinical settings.

Early experiences in health consulting and strategy helped shape his systems-level thinking approach to public health. In 2023, he founded the Chinese Arts and Health Collective to foster collaboration in research and advocacy.
