​Give Your Stress a Colored Pencil is a gentle, creative workshop using coloring, simple drawing, and doodling to support stress relief, anxiety reduction, and self-care. You’ll explore simple shapes, patterns, and color in ways that build confidence, calm the nervous system, and support memory and focus.

​✏️ Give Your Stress a Colored Pencil is a gentle, creative workshop using coloring, simple drawing, and doodling to support stress relief, anxiety reduction, and self-care.

​You’ll explore simple shapes, patterns, and color in ways that build confidence, calm the nervous system, and support memory and focus.

🚫 No artistic skill is required—just a willingness to slow down and be kind to your brain.

✅   NOTE: Please have blank paper, a pen or marker, and coloring materials on hand.

​​👋 Meet Sarah Routman, MEd, CLYL, CLYT

​Sarah Routman believes life is better when you laugh—and she’s made it her mission to prove it! A former high school teacher, leadership instructor at the University of Minnesota, and executive director of three non-profits, Sarah wears many creative hats: published poet, photographer, author, painter, and coloring book artist. As a globally celebrated Laughter Ambassador and Laughter Yoga instructor and trainer, she’s shared the power of purposeful, playful laughter with thousands around the world, lighting up stages as a keynote speaker and conference presenter. Sarah loves mixing laughter with art (and yes, sometimes chocolate!) to create unforgettable experiences that boost joy and wellbeing. Most recently, she’s partnered with the non-profit Healing Headbands as their spotlight artist. Her newest book, Discover the Power of Laughter, was released in April 2025, inviting everyone to laugh a little louder and live a lot brighter – because when you laugh, shift happens!
