The 2026 Training Institute for Arts in Health and Creative Aging

The Creative Center’s Training Institute for Arts in Health and Creative Aging is a multi-day immersive program designed for artists, healthcare professionals, educators, and administrators who seek to integrate creative practice into health and older adult settings.
This multi-day immersive program is designed for professionals working at the intersection of the arts, health, and aging. Participants will engage in experiential skill-building, embodied learning, and thought-provoking dialogue led by an interdisciplinary team of experienced staff and experts in the field. Through a dynamic mix of lectures, panel discussions, and hands-on art workshops, attendees will gain contemporary knowledge and practical insight into the development and implementation of high-quality arts programming in healthcare and community settings.
By the end of the program, participants will be equipped with practical tools and insights for creating and sustaining high-quality arts programming for individuals living with cancer or chronic illness, their caregivers, and older adults across the aging spectrum.
